I took a road trip with my family this summer, (almost 4,000 miles) and saw some of the early Church history sights, including the visitors' center at Winter Quarters, Nebraska.
We went through the center and the pioneer cemetery and got to see the relatively new temple. It was beautiful even though we were melting in the summer humidity. (We're used to the dry heat!)
