I took these young men to the temple construction site today as part of our lesson on temples. I hope they feel the spirit and are as enthusiastic as I am about it.

Week 9 from the Air

Still not much to see in this stage of the construction. The sun was just coming up this morning over the Wellsville Mountains and it was a bit hazy when my flying buddy, John took these pictures.

Week 8

Not much visible progress this week. Of course, this is the unglamorous but crucial phase of footings and foundation work. I'm curious how the underground parking will be.

Week 7

Not much visible progress this week, just some additional preparatory work with the drainage.

Week 6

I looks as if the majority of the overburden has been removed. The excavation has been contoured out to grade and stakes have been placed to mark the footings and foundation work. It's great to see this much progress is just six weeks.
