Wow! The spire is in place! It happened to be my day off, so I went to the temple and this is what I saw. The East spire was being lifted into place and welded permanently to the rest of the structure.
I was surprised at the number of other people also watching the construction. What a beautiful and unforgettable day!
A large crew was also pouring the roof of the South parking structure, so I took of bunch of photos of that. The temple really seems to be the center of the community and a place of wonder.

| These are the "red" cables that will be tensioned after the concrete is cured to form one of the main beams that supports the roof of the South parking structure. |
